Running SigEp's national channels

I took over @officialsigep on August 1, 2026. Seven weeks later, the account's viewers were up 164 percent, with zero ad spend behind any of it.

The Brief

One account, three audiences

A national fraternity account talks to undergrads, alumni, and parents at the same time. The data made that concrete: more than a third of the audience is 25 to 34, which means alumni, not just students.

Two findings shaped everything after. Static carousels drove about 81 percent of views, not reels. And more than half of all views came from people who didn't follow the account yet. The content had to recruit strangers, not just serve members.

My Role

  • Own the national calendar, planned monthly from the prior month's performance data.
  • Design, write, and publish every post, with collaborative posting so chapters share the reach.
  • Built the content franchises below, so results compound instead of resetting every week.
  • Built the infrastructure: a communications-officer contact system across chapters, a 35-template library scoped across 9 content types, and a house tour video template chapters can shoot themselves.
  • Run the expansion accounts for new chapters at FAU, Texas Tech, and Auburn.
