Case Study · Recruitment Marketing
197 members, sold face to face
Before headquarters, I spent two years in the field recruiting chapter by chapter. Six chapters, four states, and $100K+ in dues, almost all of it organic.
- Roles
- Expansion Manager, then SW Regional Specialist
- Years
- June 2024 to June 2026
- Territory
- Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, California
- Paid media
- Under $100
Why It's Here
Sales taught me what marketing is for
In fraternity terms these are new members. In business terms they're customers: each one a person sold in person on a multi-year commitment with real dues attached.
Recruiting on campus is the fastest feedback loop in marketing. A message either gets someone to a second conversation or it doesn't, and you find out the same night.
My Role
- Built each chapter's local recruitment marketing: positioning for that campus, materials, and campaigns.
- Ran the Balanced Man Scholarship outreach at CU Boulder, working from Dean's List and athlete rosters to reach top recruits.
- Created the expansion petition packet: a master template and a Canva blueprint other expansion staff could reuse.
- Recruited face to face, then trained chapter leaders to keep doing it after I left.
Results

From national recruitment scoreboards and chapter records, June 2024 to June 2026. Revenue shown as a floor: actual gross dues were slightly higher.
